"With modern ranged combat utilizing a variety of earth and alien weaponry"
Modern combat involves using alien weaponry? Shouldn't this say the SHOW's weaponry? 65.27.139.162 19:30, 16 September 2007 (MDT)
- Articles are generally written in-universe, there's no need to explicitly state that we're talking about stargate. --Amro 00:44, 4 December 2007 (MST)
It states in the weapon skill section, that all archetypes can use all weapons. It refers to the Q&A 3. I dont get the same thought from that Q&A. I think it merely states, that different people can master different weapons, but it doesnt say, that everyone can use any weapon. What do others say about it? Phaze 10.3.08
- It says "All players will be able to learn to use all weaponry". I don't think the author of that sentance got the correct point across. --atrizu 10:52, 10 March 2008 (CDT)
- Um now i didnt get what you mean sgtbenc, since it seems to me, that if you roll an archeologist, you cannot use every weapon the game contains. If you think it means that all players can use all weapons in that you can always roll a new toon, i dont think its really neccessary to state that. Or do you mean, that there are not any weapons in the game, which cant be used at least by some players? Which would mean that there are no enemy-only-weapons. But that we dont know i believe.
- It appears that they are saying that any character can use any weapon, they just can't master a weapon that they don't have the correct skill tree for. IE: Jaffa can use P90, maybe even efficiently, but can't master it. Still, they don't say that all characters can use all weapons in a definite sentance, but I can see how whoever added that might've got that impression. I fixed it. --atrizu 17:39, 10 March 2008 (CDT)
- Looks alot better now ;) --Phaze 10.3.08

Assault Rifles(Non-P90)?
The P90 isn't classified as an Assault Rifle to begin with. It's a Submachine Gun. At least that's what every source I've ever come in contact with says.
- You are absolutely correct. Keep in mind that you can edit these articles yourself! The picture linked in the article with the so called assault rifles is a picture of an MP5 is a submachine gun and the alien/scifi looking ones are similar. --atrizu 14:20, 23 July 2008 (UTC)
