SyFy Portal has predicted that 2007 will be a terrific year for Stargate. Michael Hinman explains why.

"In the meantime, the future of the Stargate franchise itself remains bright. "Stargate: Atlantis" is scheduled to come back for a fourth season in late 2007, a massive multiplayer online role playing game called "Stargate Worlds" is in development, there is talk about doing a sequel to the 1994 "Stargate" movie that started it all (even if it ignores what happened in the television spinoffs), and there are reports that a third Stargate series is in the works."
