SWB: Hi Dan thanks for your time!

DAN: Pleasure.

SWB: Do you know at this time when the publication date is?

DAN: We are still in the pre-production phase of the project so it is too soon at this point to narrow down a specific publication date.

SWB: Will the character use a DHD (Dial home Device)?

DAN: Of course, yet how that is interfaced with the player is still going through iteration.

SWB: Will we meet characters from the series like O'Neill, Carter or Daniel?

DAN: It is a little early to say how or if these main characters will be in the storyline.

SWB: Will there be a storyline?

DAN: That is one of the great things about the Stargate universe. We have a rich universe to pull from. With that we are pulling together a storyline that the players will be able to follow and share with friends as they play.

SWB: Is there a chance that a single player can play the whole game or must everyone be in a clan?

DAN: Yes, we want all types of players to enjoy this game. We are continually looking at each scenario that we create and talk about how an SGC squad will interact with this and how a player can solo.

SWB: Can the characters play in the Stargate Command and/or in the Cheyenne Mountain?

DAN: It is a little early to say how the player will interact with SGC or how it will affect gameplay. Yet this is a core piece of the show and we will pay homage to it.

SWB: Will there be monthly cost like in World of Warcraft?

DAN: Pricing and fees will be determined closer to launch but I expect they will follow the industry standard at that time.

SWB: How many races can be played?

DAN: It is a little early to release the exact races that we are creating, although we are working to ensure that the fans of the show will be able to play all of the favorite races of the show.

SWB: How many races will there be?

DAN: Too Early to say.

SWB: Will the game be played more in the nature (outdoors) or in buildings (indoors)?

DAN: Both environments will be represented in the game. We want to have a good mix to give you the feeling of running around alien worlds and battling it out in a Goa'uld mother ship.

SWB: Is the game based more on SG-1 or on Atlantis?

DAN: We would like to include both series in Stargate Worlds. As SG-1 currently has more seasons and more information available to the player, so you will probably notice more from that series in the beginning.

SWB: Will there be missions like in the series?

DAN: We are developing a mission system that will give players tasks to complete throughout the game and will also advance the storyline. One of the main draws of using this universe is that you can be an SGC team member that is given a mission of diplomacy or exploration, how you proceed is up to you.

SWB: Will the game come out in Germany? If yes, will the game come out in the German language?

DAN: Yes, we are planning to localize the game in many territories, Germany being one of them.

SWB: When will the first screenshots be released?

DAN: Several pieces of concept art have already been released on stargateworlds.com. In-game screen shots will be available within the next few months.

SWB: Will there be different servers?

DAN: There will be multiple servers for gameplay.

SWB: Can the character create his own map/level/world with his own Stargate symbols? If Yes can other characters visit this map/level/world?

DAN: At this time we have no plans to include that feature.
