Leet Speak

Noun: A system of shorthand often substituting numbers and letter groups for particular letters or sounds. Leet speak is very common in online gaming. Leet, short for elite is one of the most common terms and also spelled 1337 and l33t. See Leet Speak.

LFG

Abbr: Looking For Group. Used by a single player seeking a group.

LFM

Abbr: Looking For More. Used by a group seeking more players.

LFT

Abbr: Looking For Team. See LFG

LMAO

Abbr: Laughing My Arse/Ass Off.

LOL

Abbr: Laughing Out Loud.

Loki

Noun: An Asgard who was responsible for many alien abduction occurances on earth. Was caught performing experiments that were not sanctioned by the Asgard High Council.

LoS

Abbr: Line of Sight. An imaginary line drawn between a player and target. A player can be said to have line of sight if there are no obstacles along that imaginary line. A mob or player character must be in "Line of Sight" to be able to shoot them.

Loot

Noun: Currency or items that are dropped by a mob when it is defeated.

Verb: The act of picking up loot.

Lucian Alliance

Noun: A collective of smugglers and criminals who established themselves as a formidible force in the power vaccum left by the collapse of the System Lords and the defeat of Anubis.
