DAoC

Noun: Dark Age of Camelot, an MMORPG.

DeBuff

Noun: A temporary decrease of statistics or abilities. May refer to something effecting the player or their ability to apply a debuff to an enemy.

DHD

Noun: Abbreviation for Dial Home Device. The name given to the device where Stargate addresses are entered. A correct address will command the Stargate to establish a wormhole to the planet associated with that address. It is essentially a user interface for the stargate.

Dialling Computer

Noun: Earth's version of the DHD. See DHD

Dirt Nap

Noun: Slang for Dead.

DKP

Abbr: Dragon Kill Points. An elaborate system some guilds use to determine who gets certain loot drops based on their contribution and participation to the guild.

DoT

Abbr: Damage over time. Refers to effects and abilities which do damage over time.

DPS

Abbr: Damage Per Second. Refers to the damage rate caused by a player or a specific weapon or ability.
