The Asgard race will rely on their drones to perform tasks, such as attacks, buffs, and mini-games. Drones will not be a separate entity. They will literally be an extension of an Asgard's consciousness and will never be separated. The Asgard and its drone share health and are one target.[1]

[edit] Programs
Drones are upgraded by equipping "programs." These programs allow the drone to take on different ‘personalities’ such as Attack, Defense and Scientific moods. Each program type is able to perform various 'functions' that the Asgard trains based upon his requirements.[1]

The enhancements are basically upgrades for the software used to enable the drone to perform its functions.[1]
