Dan Elggren joins Cheyenne Mountain Entertainment as a Senior Producer, anxious to work on Stargate Worlds. Dan considers himself an enthusiast of the Stargate television series and is a fan of the MMO game format.
Dan's love of gaming was fueled by his first job as a game tester, literally getting paid to play video games all day! Since then he has worked as Project Manager of Engineering Animation, Inc. where he shipped several Field & Stream Hunting games as well as Outburst and Clue game titles for Hasbro Interactive. He worked as Producer at GT Interactive before spending several years working on internet software development.
In 2001, Dan joined Westwood Studios, under Electronic Arts as Development Director to ship the MMO Earth and Beyond Online. When Westwood was dissolved, Dan continued with EA in Los Angeles first as Development Director, then as Producer. Dan quickly became a World War II buff working on Medal of Honor Rising Sun, Medal of Honor Pacific Assault and Medal of Honor European Assault, as well as Command and Conquer Generals: Zero Hour.
When not at work, Dan enjoys being with his family, playing online games with friends in 4 states and playing basketball whenever he gets a chance.
